I'm still new to ON1, coming from LR and I have some issues with the start rating system.
First, in filmstrip view mode in the Browse module, I can't see the star rating at the bottom of the picture I am viewing. To see it I have to look into the top of the right pane, which I find not handy because it doesn't "fall under the eyes". Is there a way to manage what to include at the bottom of a picture (like in the grid mode)?
Second, I really don't understand why there are always 5 stars depicted, with some filled and the others left empty. For example if I give 3 stars to a picture, it will show 3 filled stars and 2 empty ones next to them. Every time I basically need to count how many are filled. The empty stars are useless, so why showing them?
Another issue I just discovered is that for attributing a number of stars to a picture I actually have to hit shift at the same time as the number (I am using a French keyboard). On French keyboards, typing numbers request to use the shift key (because we have many special characters like é, ç or à that are the default for those keys). However, French keyboards also have a "shift lock" key which when pressed keep everything in capitals, meaning that to write numbers we don't have to hold the shift key anymore. And ON1 does not seem to understand that "shift lock" key because even if activated, I still have to press shift + the number.
Can we make such kind of suggestion to the developers, and if yes, how?
