External ExtCacheOn1 is locked

Most likely due to something I did yesterday my external On1 caching lost its update permissions. In the ON1 logfile I find the following line:
IO error: /Volumes/ExtCacheOn1/PerfectBrowseCache/ON1Sync.db/LOCK: Read-only file system

How can I repair this?

  Martin, in the Finder go to that folder and check its permissions. Make sure your user account has Read & Write permissions. If you have to make a change be sure to apply it to all the folder's contents.

  I’ll check it tomorrow. Hopefully it’s that easy, if not it’s up to support.

  Support wasn't necessary. I remembered that I started PR 2021 earlier this week and forced it to stop.
  I started it again this morning without issues, closed it and could start PR 2022 with the external cache.
  So probably the regular start and stop op PR 2021unlocked it.
