Something wrong with text placement
Is this a bug?
I placed text at the bottom left, but when I return to browse view it has moved upwards. Ditto when exported as a JPG.

How was it placed? Did you use the Text Tool or add it as a watermark?
I've just played with the text tool and so far it is staying where I placed it. Maybe a screenshot showing your setup while placing the text would be helpful.

I am using the tex tool
The top 2 lines are justified left, the bottom line is justified right and in 120pt

It looks like a bug to me, I'm able to reproduce it. It works if you separate the top text from the bottom text. Have 2 separate text boxes sized to fit the text then they will stay in position when you return to the Browser.

That worked. However, when I export as a JPG the text quality is very poor. Maybe I need to choose a different colour space or something.

Have you reported this? I did and got the standard delete settings and reset the program, something I did 3 days ago! Then they tell me that they see the problem but somehow it isn't a problem with the program it's my system. Go figure. I even provided them a link to this discussion.
Please report this too. The more people that report a problem the stronger the case becomes that it is the program and not the users' systems.

When doing this kind of thing, I'd suggest using two separate text boxes for the top line and bottom. When I had a similar problem a year or two ago, I was told the text feature is just a simple implementation and not intended to act like a word processor.
Edit: Here, I found the exact reply from Cody...
After consulting with our QA team they have stated the following:
Unfortunately since ON1 Photo RAW does not have much in the way of page layout and any real text formatting tools to align text boxes, we can only recommend making a couple of separate text boxes instead of hitting the return key a bunch of times.0
