Albums Disappeared.
AnsweredI was on vacation for 10 days. When I got back and started up On1 my cataloged folder was gone. I easily set up my catalogued folder again. Then I noticed all the content to my albums disappeared. These albums took many painstaking hours to produce. How do I get them back?
I am on a Mac Mini M1 2020. Using On1 Raw 2022 16.1.1.011599

Unless you have a backup from before you left on your vacation there isn't any way to recover them. You'll have to rebuild them. It should be easier with the new Advanced Search features and its ability to create Smart Albums.
FWIW, I use Keywords with the Album name for the photos in those albums. That makes it easy to rebuild them again.

Unfortunately before I left on vacation I was having a technical issue where On1 would freeze when it backed up. So I don't have anything. I have had a lot of issues with On1 locking up, especially when creating albums and organizing in the browser.
Seems like albums should be more stable so that one wouldn't need to create keywords for a rebuild. This is extremely frustrating. Been using On1 for many years now but I am seriously thinking of going back to Lightroom that was stable.

Totally agree with you. Did the same thing to me today. Version 16.1.0.11675
ON1 really needs to get their act together. My recollection is that the same thing happened in going from 2019 to 2020 when they decided to delete Smart Albums.
There is no point having "a new backup system" if you can't get to use it because all your albums were destroyed.
There needs to be a fix to this ASAP !!!

It's not going to get fixed if you don't report it. You need to document the problem and send it in to On1 support. Assuming that someone else has already reported it is not good enough, On1 needs to know the full extent of the problem.
