I replaced a sky and synced it to another photo. The second photo seemed to have slightly different dimensions and a slice of the mask was missing. I.e. the sky was too far to the left with an empty part right. No sweat I thought, just hit reset. The sky vanished but the mask remained and a new sky just used the old mask, so I then tried reset all. Still the mask remained. I tried reset all from browse and still the mask remained. Eventually I deleted the both sidecars – on1 and xmp. Guess what, the mask was still there! Ok, in desperation I copied the photo (the .cr2) to another location, deleted the photo in ON1 and then copied the photo back. But still the mask remained! This mask only affects the sky and no other effects, so is a sky mask stored elsewhere? And is it possible to delete it?
I would like to know if others have seen this before I log an issue.
