PSD to JPG

When I resize a JPG photo, it changes it to a PSD.  How can I leave it in the same folder, but convert it back to a JPG?  I don't want to export it to change it to a JPG.  I want to leave it where it is as a JPG.

  The Resize module exports to the file type you have set in Preferences > Files. Set that to jpeg before opening the Resize module.
