Failed to import Lightroom 5 catalog

Well, basically I like my old Lightroom 5.7.1, but Adobe is too stupid to offer permanent licenses for current versions, so I'm looking for a tool that can deal with current hardware and algorithms.

Trying ON1 Photo RAW 2022.1, I wanted to import my Lightroom catalog to see what I can expect. However I had a few missing images (something that shouldn't be there for the importer).

So when actually running the import, it took its time, but when the progress bar reached 100%, I only got this popup message (German); my guess is that the issue could be handled in some smarter way.

  That is a programming error and you need to report it to tech support
