I do not do my own printing so I am unable to help with this. You'll have to ask tech support about it.

Terrance, did you go into "Setup" and verify your printer settings are using the correct paper size?

Good point but yes. 8 x 10 Borderless.

Sorry but the print module has been doing this for some versions. I have put in a tech support request over 18 months ago and have not seen an improvement. I even signed up again for Lightroom this year to print out my photos with my Canon pro 100s using print studio pro. ON1 is an excellent piece of software, but the print module is weak.
The good news is if you play with the settings it can be done, but it is illogical…don't assume to use “fit” and create a custom page for your paper if need be. I wish I could give you better help, but it seems to change every time I use it…I have a cut down photo which is the width of the photo I want to print, but is a few mm deep. That way I can see straight away if it will work..or I did until I signed up for LR again.

there were several posts on the forum about printing problems. Persevere.

This may help. Can't print from 2022 to Canon Pro-100 from Mac running Big Sur?

I can print on my Canon 100 and have had no problem doing so, but the print has a mind of its own. It is very difficult to get the positioning/size correct. When you, as I do, enter club/regional photo competitions, the max print size/layout has to be spot on or is rejected. I can print an A3 or specialist panorama print using LR and Print Studio pro in minutes and have a V good quality print out. If I try to do the same in ON1 you can waste expensive photo paper and it can take some time. We have other club members who use ON1 and like me are big fans. None of us prints from ON1. Some export to other pieces of software (I used Affinity for some time or an old version of LR) others use the Canon DPP.

You may disagree, but the print module is the weakest link in the software in my opinion.

Agreed. Disappointing that these software makers for photographers leave out what makes a final image...the print. I now use Print-Tool (only for Mac). Should I have to buy another print module because the one I bought as part of the software doesn't work? On1 better watch out or they'll lose their customers, too, for the next solid post processing software that cares about printing. Or one that cares about their customers and communicates with them about pending fixes. Right now I have no reason to believe they even know about their underperforming print module let alone working on fixing it. Talk to us On1.

    Thanks everyone.

Terrance, ON1 does not monitor these forums. You are talking to other users who have no control over the company's decisions. As I said in my first reply, you need to be talking to tech support about these issues. This is how they learn about the problems users are having. If you don't tell them, how can they be expected to know about your problems?

    Hi Brian

you have been very helpful over the period I have been on the forums and have helped me solve several problems very efficiently. For that I am very grateful.  I have reported this to ON1 techs on two occasions and provided evidence to show what is happening. I know of another person who had contacted tech support with exactly the same problem. This has been the same for at least two years. I had to, as previously stated, buy LR to print my photos against all my best wishes.
Shame that there is no way to get the team at ON1 to monitor these forums…in the words of another ON1 user…”wish they would sort out the basics before introducing more unusual features”

Anyway thanks once again, your work is appreciated.
