Keyword questions
AnsweredWhen adding keywords to newly imported file, I used to be able to start typing the word, suggestions would pop up, and I'd click on the right word in the keyword list. Now clicking on the existing keywords doesn't work, and I have to retype the whole keyword--potentially leading to more mistyped keywords. Wasn't this something that was fixed in the newest version? I have version 16.1.0.011675. Or am I missing something?
Also is there a really fast way to see which keywords are errors (mistyped, there are no photos associated with them, etc.)? If I edit these incorrect keywords one by one, it takes, well, probably more time than I have on this Earth, because it goes through all the photos every time to makes the change, and with nearly 160,000 images that is very slow.
Always appreciate your help--saves much time.

I'm using Windows, so maybe there is a difference with Mac...
Typing in the Add Keyword area pops up a list for me in both Browse and Import.
If you select your top most folder and then Show Subfolders, Browse will show every photo. Then in the Keyword list, you can see which Keywords are not used.
If you have a wrong Keyword, select every photo with that keyword, add the correct keyword, then remove the wrong one. If you Delete the keyword it might still have to check every photo. I don't now of an option to change that.

Thanks Rick for responding so quickly.
So when I type of keyword, or even part of one, the list of those words shows. But I can't click on the right one that's already on the list. Well, I can click on it, but nothing happens. It doesn't fill in the rest of the keyword, or assign it. I always have these little gremlins, so it could be my system.

Am I mistaken that "show subfolders" used to be a button at the bottom of the screen. Now it seems only under the View>Show subfolder contents. I liked having the button--made viewing subfolders easier and faster.

You're typing them in in the wrong place for assigning them that way Myrna. Right now you are in the Keyword List. To assign a keyword through the list click in the circle.
What you're probably remembering is typing in the keyword in the Metadata pane's Keyword field. Clicking the keyword that shows up there also applies it to the photo.

You are not mistaken. It was moved to make room for the new Search Bar at the bottom of the screen.

I am on windows but I assume that a Mac is the same, right click on the top most folder of your photos ( mine is called Pictures) and Show Subfolders is an menu item
