Keyword hierarchy and external apps (Feature Request)

I have my keywords in a hierarchal sorting...

• \Events\Vacation\Cruise - 2012
• \Events\Vacation\Cruise - 2014
• \Events\Vacation\Banff - 2015
• \Location\USA - Oregon\Bend Oregon
• \Location\USA - Oregon\Painted Hills

When exporting, then using an external app to view images and tags, ever level is seen as a separate tag.  Part of this works good...view all vacation images, but part not so much (events and location are meaningless tags, other than hierarchal keyword grouping). 

IE, in Synology Photos, I get tags for:

• Events
• Vacations
• Cruise - xxx
• Location
• ...

Feature Request:  Allow keyword settings that can be applied during exports.  Such settings might include "Do not include in export" and "Synonyms:  xxxxx" and "Include Synonyms on export".  In above example, I might flag "Events" and "Location" as not exportable.

Alternate recommendations?  Aside from On1 adding this as a feature request, any alternate options or suggestions anyone can make?
