Can see image in Browse but cannot edit it

Hi

I have an image that I took a couple of years ago and I keep revisiting it, convinced it is worthwhile
It is "duplicated" and in RAW (NEF) format but has been non-destructively edited. I can view it in Browse but I cannot load it to Edit (the struck thru image appears).

Ideas? Thanks

  Was it previously edited in Photo Raw?

  It needs to be an RGB format to work in On1, if it's greyscale, it's not compatible.

  Yes it was previously edited in in Photo Raw. It is listed as a .NEF file

  In that case, it's probably corrupt now. What do you mean by 'duplicated'? Does that mean that you have another copy? If so, does it open?

  It would appear that at some point I have overwritten the unduplicated original RAW. I back up all my SD cards to a removable drive so I shall explore that.
