Still waiting, when will On1 support the z9? This wait is costly.

There is no point in asking this here, we don't work for On1 and have no way to know the progress. If you ask Tech support, they might have an idea about how long, but if not then there is no one who can answer this.

This is the on1 site, but I do understand how they don't care about customer support.

This is not the On1 site, this is the USER  support forum. We are only other users here.

Lol. The email notification comes from On1 Support, this is On1help.

On1 doesn't come to this portion of their site because they don't believe in providing customer support.

That is demonstrably untrue. ON1 has very good tech support in my opinion. Are the able to solve all problems? No, nobody could given all the variables in individual systems involved. Do they try their best? Yes, I'm currently testing a fix for the lost edits problem. It should show up in the next release unless I find something to prevent it.

Do they respond here? No, this is the Community support site. It is meant for us to be able to discuss problems, issues, tips, techniques, pretty much what ever we like without flooding the support techs with meaningless (to them) messages so they can concentrate on helping the folks who contact them directly.

If you don't like that they do not respond here, stop posting things that you expect or just want them to see. Use the Submit a request link to write directly to tech support or customer service where you will receive a reply.

Maybe I will save someone from wasting their money on a company that has no support.

Even On1 has admitted that they can't provide service for a flagship camera, unlike their competition. Heck, they specifically told me I should use Adobe since they have no idea when, if ever, they will support Nikon.

I've had to go and pay for a years subscription for Adobe because, after waiting 2 months, On1 can't be bothered to provide support.

Having a useless customer support place like here, where you don't reach a On1 person is just a joke and a sign of slipshod customer service.

Get On1, the program that keeps making you pay time after time after initially buying it.

What you don't seem to understand is that they have to figure out how to decode that file format all by themselves. Adobe gets help from the camera manufactures that isn't provided to other software manufacturers. You are asking them to predict how long it is going to take to figure out the format with any help. It isn't possible. Support isn't what is lacking. What you lack is the answer you want to hear while refusing to accept anything else and so you bad mouth the company and say things that are blatantly untrue.

There are workarounds while the problem is being worked on. You can covert them to .dngs and Photo RAW will be able to work on them.

What exactly have you had to pay extra for after purchasing the software? This is what I mean by making false claims.
