Huion HS611 Graphics Tablet Working with On1 PR 2022

This is for those wondering about or considering buying a Huion graphics tablet for use with Photo Raw 2022. I've been trying out their latest HS611 tablet (with no display) at home for several weeks now and have finally ironed out any bugs I first encountered when using it with PR 2022. Note that I am not a pro at photo editing, so I have not put the tablet through every conceivable scenario!

FYI, I'm running PR 2022 on a Windows 11 PC. The Huion website provides their latest tablet driver, version 15.5.33.444. All of the 10 press buttons located on the side and which I've assigned seem to work with On1, though I haven't tried to assign every possible keyboard shortcut. In case some are wondering, I do have Windows Ink enabled in the Huion driver settings. It seems to work fine.

I really like using a graphics tablet for my first time. Applicable to any brand tablet, using the pen, I think it is easier to trace lines for masking with much finer detail than I can achieve with a mouse or my trackball. I'm using small hand movements instead of my entire forearm.

Hope this helps those who are undecided about getting a Huion (or any other) graphics tablet.

  Thanks for the tip on using the Huion HS611. I just received it and it really works well with Photo RAW and my other apps like Xara Designer Pro and Artrage.
