Understanding On1 Mobile
AnsweredI'm using the current On1 2022. I dont wish to spend money on 360 / syncing at this time. What I am struggling to clarify is the following:
Can I use the On1 Mobile App to take photos and edit them (on Android), and then transfer them to my desktop WITHOUT using 360 / sync ? I ask because I've installed the Android mobile app and I cant find any menus with editing functions on them.
Thank you in advance
Eddie

Have you signed in yet? If you own Photo Raw you'll get the premium features, but you need to sign in to enable them.

Yes you can edit photos taken with the app or imported into its library.
At the bottom of the screen you should see an icon that looks like 3 sliders. Tapping that icon will open the selected photo in the editor.
To transfer the edited photo to your desktop you'll have to Export it by tapping the icon in the lower left corner of the screen.

Brian Thank you for the quick response. I've made good progress becoming familiar with the app since I posted. I found the editor etc. I cannot find an EXPORT icon. On the editor screen the bottom line shows all of the editor functions but no EXPORT. On the previous screen, bottom left is a share icon, asking me to save to camera roll or share to or cancel.? If I can find the EXPORT function I should be good to go.
Thank you again

The Export icon is available in both the editor (at the top of the screen) and in the browser at the bottom left. It looks like a line with an upward pointing arrow.

Sorry to be a pain Brian
I'm using Android 16.1.11612.
The symbol you described - upward arrow - does not appear in the browser or editor screens.. The Share symbol appears in the bottom left of the browser and in the top right of the editor screen just in front of the histogram symbol. ???

The screenshots did come from the Mac version but the buttons should be in the same place on the Android version. Did you tap the Share button to see what it presents?

Brian Tapping Share in the editor screen gives me the following
File type JPEG or Original (Select 1 of these)
Save to camera roll or
Share to.... or
Cancel

Brian Going by the video links you sent me, the share symbol seems to have replaced the upward arrow icon. Some of the options available when the share symbol is clicked also seem to have changed.
I'll go with this for now. Thanks again for your help

What you see after tapping the Share button is what I see when I click the Share button on the iOS version.
The icons used by the program are coming from the OS, ON1 did not create them but the functionality is pretty much the same. The Mac version has some options provided by iOS that the Android OS does not provide so there are some minor differences.
