Import My Own Skies?

You are doing everything correctly for importing your own skies. When you import one you are asked to place it in a Category. Those Categories that you have created show up at the bottom of the Sky Swap AI's Category drop down menu. Select your Category then you'll see the skies you have imported to it.

Thanks Brian but that is what I don't get (My Skies) unless I go via the the import option under the skies menu in in the edit module and get all the sky images duplicated again.

Notice the –My Skys- separator above my "My Skies" entry. My Skies is the Category I created for this example. The categories you have created will appear under that separator on your system.

Show me a screenshot of what you see when you pull down the Categories menu in the Sky Swap AI panel as I've done above.

Sorry don't no how to get a screen shot on win 11 but yours looks as mine but after I go over the above process I originally posted. I assume that you can use RAW files in the process? Russ.

Yes, you can but you'll get the unprocessed version. You'll do better to export a jpeg to be used for importing.

You can do a screen capture in Windows by pressing the Alt + Print Screen. That will place a copy of your entire screen in the clipboard. From there you'll have to paste it into a new image with an image editor (not Photo RAW). Pressing Windows key + Print Screen will save a copy to your Pictures\Screenshots folder.

OK, you have 3 Categories you have imported skies into. 2 of them, Autumn Skies and ON1-Morganti-Sky-Assortment-Pack came from freebies offered by ON1. The third, the one you have selected, My Skies Only will contain your skies. After choosing that Category click on the Sky drop down menu just below the Category drop down and you'll see the images you have imported into your My Skies Only folder.

All of this is explained in the User Guide starting on page 155 in REPLACING SKIES WITH SKY SWAP.

Next time I will just try importing from the Sky option under the Browse menu. Russ.
