Have minimum OSX requirements changed for 2022.5?Answered
I'm running 2022.1 on OSX 10.14.6
I just noticed that the minimum requirement for 2022.5 is OSX 10.15
- Is this a change from 2022.1? (Searching for the specs for that now takes me to 2022.5).
- Either way, is it safer to stay on 2022.1 rather than risk breaking ON1 by upgrading?
(note: upgrading to OSX 10.15 would break Photoshop CS6, which I still require)
Yes, this is a change from 2022.1. This is because of the new Resize AI. In your situation yes, I would stay with 2022.1.0
Good thing I spotted that!! Could have been a major disaster - I'm in the middle of a paid project ...
Stuff like this need to be HIGHLIGHTED0
I'm running macOS 10.14.6 and successfully installed 2022.5 only to find Resize AI crashes. The installer should be capable of verifying the OS version BEFORE installation. I did not notice any mention of a change to the minimum requirements and am quite disappointed I cannot use this highly-touted new feature.
