2022.5 "Not Responding" on Windows 11

I've tried installing 2022.5 Photo Raw several times, after following instructions for a clean uninstall. I continue to get "not responding" as the program hangs after the initial splash screen, although once it did get to my files and showed the grid. Tried both reset and delete settings with no resolution. 2022.1 runs fine on my PC.

Any ideas on next steps?

  Give it some time. If it's in the middle of doing something, It may recover after a bit and start responding.

  For the record, i get Not Responding a lot as well.

  Well, after waiting for well over two hours, I lost patience. Nothing like a fresh installation of Windows to fix things! I'm in the middle of that right now...

  Yea, two hours is a little much. I get that Not respnding quite often and it usually recovers within 5 min. If I have to wait 10 or more, I just kill it and start over.

  Same here. "Not responding". Gave up after an hour. Uninstalled/re-installed. Same result. Removed On1 entirely from my system.

  After resorting to a clean installation of Windows 11, On1 PR 2022.5 installed and is running well.

  My installation on both of my Windows 11 machine works fine. There's an update today, which I don't know it's content 16.5.1.12465

  I get that too on Windows 10.
