ON1 Resize Versions
Can anyone confirm that the two versions of Resize AI and non-AI can be installed and coexist on the same computer with causing problems with each other? I understand that PhotoRaw will only execute the AI version but outside of the program I would use the non-AI version.
For non-critical resizing, I like the speed of the non-AI version.

I'm assuming that you're referring to the plugin apps. If you install versions of Resize from within the same year, they will overwrite each other, however if you have something like a 2022 and 2021 version, they should work side by side.
That being said, you are incorrect, Photo Raw does have the fractal version available if you want it. Just select it from the 'method' drop down.

Actually, you should be able to have both 2022 versions installed together. The new one has AI in its name so it should not overwrite the previous version. I don’t know about the actual plugins though.

I've been installing the Resize app updates since it was released and when Resize AI came along I didn't end up with 2 icons after the install. Resize AI either overwrote or uninstalled the previous one.

I'd like to thank everyone for their comments and advice. I do own the stand alone program for both AI and non-AI and wanted to use the non-AI in a batch mode, but it seems I can do that within ON1 so I may not try to possibly overwrite anything and go that route.

What I do when I want to keep both the older and newer versions is to rename the older application and its folder. I put the version number on it; i.e.; Photo RAW 2022.1. Then when the new version is installed with the original name it gets a clean install and leaves the older version alone.
I don't know how well that will work with the plug-ins but I assume that if you did the same thing with them, give them a unique name prior to installing the update, it should work.
