NoNoise selection method

As of the last 2022.5 update, we now have the choice of applying Nonoise  in original or high detail.As far as I understand the Original is used for Raw and High detail for non raw files.

It seems that ON 1 takes the method of the last photo that was "Nonoised".So it seems that ON 1 doesn't recognize the file type.

If so , how can I select the right method of Nonoise as I am using Jpeg andRaw files .

  When i select NoNoise , it starts immediately the the method which was last used in the previous editing.

  Indeed , I can select the method , but only after ON 1 first did the job

  The Method drop-down should be available regardless of having performed any previous noise removal.

  In general, yes, the new High Detail method is meant for use with jpegs and tiffs. However, it can be used with RAW files. In some circumstances you may get better results, in others, not so much.

  The program makes that setting 'sticky' meaning it remembers what you did for the last image on the assumption that you'll want to do the same thing for the next image.
