Olympus OM1 High resolution shot ON1 2022.5

HI,

 ON1 cannot open Olympus High resolution file.

When you shoot in HR ,you get an .ORF file the HR ,you also get a jpg ,and an .ORI 

The .ORF cannot be read ,you have to work with the JPG which is not optimal ,and the .ORI you can rename to .ORF but then you don't have HR. 

Is it something I can hope for soon ,or do I have to find other ways to open my High Resolution?

    There has been plenty of discussion on this subject which all boils down to that format is not yet supported by Photo RAW.

    I know ....but it has been there for a long time now ....may be time to get something done.

    Support for OM1 RAW files was only added a week ago. It will be a long time if ever that the HR mode is supported in On1. The best you're going to get for now is to convert the HR file with Olympus Workspace into a TIFF or DNG that will work in Photo Raw.

    This is what I am doing . I was just pointing out that it was not there ,kind of a little bit strange to add support for a new camera ,but not support such an important feature. Thank you for your time.

    It is frustrating to have an ON1 supported camera (the OM1)  but not be able to use the phenominal high resolution files that the OM1 can produce.  I'm very pleased that ON1 can read the lower resolution OM1 RAW files, but we need a way to post process the much better files done as high resolution be this camera.  Any help on this would be much appreciated.

    You need to use the OM Workspace to convert the hi res file to something like TIFF or PSD that Photo Raw can read.

    Thanks.  Still hope ON1 gets this done directly - it is a pain to have to use two programs to get the work done.

    Far as I know, On1 has no plans to add the HI Res mode. You could either add it to the On1 project (link below) or contact support and ask them directly.
