modify a version filename?

Its my practice that when I get ready to print, I create a version and make sharpening and exposure changes for a particular printer- I would like to either change the filename (leaving the base image name unchanged or attach a tag that would let me know that it is a version image for a particular printer.

Any thought on how I could do that?

  Not a problem. You can rename or append info to a version just like any other file. 

  As for tags, the metadata pane is right there in Browse, just add a tag to it. If you add a tag, you can set up a smart album to group them all together.
