I can't answer your Mac questions, but for the mouse, try deleting the settings file then see if the mouse works any better.

The scroll wheel controls work for my Microsoft mouse on my M1 Mini.

How big is your current PBC and how much free space is left on the drives you mentioned?

Mouse - found the answer..... with Apple mouse the way to adjust Brush Size is to hold down option key whilst scrolling.  Release the option key and the scrolling return to Pan Zoom.

PCB - I have 2 ext drives -- Samsung 1TB and Kingston 60GB.  My current size of PBC is 3GB. It's small because I don't want to catalogue a larger number of folders (which I would love to do! ), due to the inability to move the PBC to an external.  Yet I get the error message on both iMac and MBP with either ext drive.

Both ext drives are reformatted to APFS with no data on either.  The weird thing is that I can move the Scratch folder without a problem and it works fine on both externals.  FYI The folder sizes:

    Library  272Gb

    Application Support  233GB

On1 117GB  - I have all the On1 Folders going back to 2020 located here. Could this be an issue?

    PBC  3.3GB

The Scratch folder does not occupy any permanent physical space. It is a place for temporary workspace which may be needed while editing. When you move it all you are moving is an empty folder so the not enough space problem doesn't come up.

Having the older versions folders should not be a problem as only the folder for the version you are currently running when you use the Move command will be moved.

Try this. Delete the PBC folder from your Macintosh HD drive. The program will rebuild it as needed although browsing will be slower while that happens. After deleting it launch Photo RAW 2022 and immediately Move it to your external drive. That should minimize the amount of space needed and prevent the not enough room issue. If you have a backup you can always restore it should there be any new problems with it having been deleted. If it isn't backed up you can just move it out of the ON1 Application Support folder so it appears to be deleted to the program and still have it for possible recovery.

Your suggestion worked like a dream and now have PBC on the external. Many thanks Brian.......

My MBP has internal 1TB SSD.  Should I catalogue the same folders which are on the Mac but keep the MBP's PBC internal.  Would that be the best set up?

That will depend upon how much free space you have and how you use the MacBook Pro. I prefer to keep the Scratch space and the PBC both on an external drive regardless of whether the computer is a desktop system or a laptop.
