Lens correction issue

Hi there,
I have a lens correction issue: when browsing (or editing for that matter) a canon sx60 file it beautifully applies lens correction. Now, when I browse a linear dng of the same file it does not apply the same lens correction. The first file is shown left, the second right. Would this be by design or is it simply a bug?

From your photos, it appears that they are identified the same, so not sure why they are treated different. You should send these examples in to On1 tech support and ask them.

Is the lens info being stripped from the DNG? That would prevent the program from being able to handle the lens correction properly. You can use the free program ExifTool to examine the metadata in each photo and compare the lens info.

It seems that indeed the lens info is missing, hence the lens correction failure.
The I used another software to create the linear dng and that does contain the lens info (see exif info below).
Funny thing is that this does not do the required lens correction either. Hmmm....
One thing to make it work (as a workaround) is to open the raw file (where lens corrections are applied), create a lens correction style called Canon SX60, open the dng for editing and apply the lens correction style. Then the lens correction works on both dng files.
I'll look into this further tomorrow as it is getting late over here ;-)

While your second DNG file does contain lens info it does not have any f-stop info.
