.on1 files
My pc stopped making the .onphoto files. I lose all my layers. It did this a while back, then there was an update that fixed it. Now, with the latest update, once again my layers are not being saved. Very frustrating. Any idea what I can do to fix it? I'm working on my daughter's maternity photos and it's important. Thanks.

The first thing to try is to delete the settings file and see if that corrects the problem. Follow the instructions in the article below.
If that doesn't help, you should contact On1 tech support and explain the problem to them.

And it worked for 1 photo and the 2nd one it did not work. No layers saved.

Are you sure there is no onphoto file? Sometimes Photo raw is just slow to show new files. You could check that folder outside of On1 with file explorer.

You might also want to make sure your sort is set to by File Name - that will place the .onphoto next to the original to make it easier to find.

The only way I get an onphoto file is if I export a .psd. Open the .psd and then hit done. When I edit the .cr2 file and hit done, no onphoto file is created.

David, I have my settings set to sort by file name.
