Not all Presets come with a thumbnail preview. Click the Grid icon at the top right corner of the Presets column to see large previews of them.

If you're not seeing the preview at all, you can turn them on from the VIEW menu.

You should be seeing this and if you click the icon in the top right you'll get a full page of previews.

(Screencap from page 1 of the user guide.)

    Hi there,

I have that menu item  VIEW PRESET BROWSER  set to thumbnails.

And when I click the icon top right – the full page is grey icons.  They don't reflect my photo at all.

I just tried installing a preset to Effects and it's working properly.

Are the Bleach Bypass presets that you're using part of the program or ones you've installed? I wasn't able to find them in my list.

Try deleting the settings file per the article attached then check the icons again. If they still don't work you may have to contact On1 support.

Thank you!  Delete Settings worked!  I may have had Effects 2019 open when I did the screen shot.  Bleach Bypass was probably in it.  I had tried reinstalling  that program, to see if it behaved better than Effects 2022.  Delete Settings worked on it too.

Rick Sammartino Thank you so much. I am trialling ON1 2023 and realise now that the reason I'd stopped using ON1 2022 was partly because it has not been showing preset thumbnails, so I've only been using it for resizing and de-noising. This tip makes such a difference. Perhaps I can use all my purchased presets again!!
