I would need to see the original photo before Nonoise in order to know if it was unusual or not.

HI, sorry but after looking more closely at the original I can see it and because On1  has cleaned it up it looked more pronounced in On1 version.

Exactly. So nothing wrong with NoNoise.

Russell, A suggestion - if you want to you can clean that up by adding a blur filter.

Ok, This is the image image, all that I did was run it as a RAW through both On1 and Topaz and used auto on both.

Now maybe it's my 69 year old eyes but I can see that On1 (1st Image I Hope) looks a lot rougher (for want of a better word) and lighter in the colour area (Green).

Yes I no that two apps won't show the exact colours but the noise artifacts in On1 to me are quite pronounced.

    Thanks Again, Russ.

That looks to me like the detail sliders are set too high. Try lowering them and use the Transition slider to limit their affect in the smoother areas of the photo. I never use the defaults provided by the program. That’s why they gave us the sliders to adjust what the program thinks things should be.
