On1 Photo Raw 2023 Hardware Requirements
I wonder what the Windows and Mac hardware requirements are for Photo Raw 2023, and whether all these new features will challenge our computers. As it is, PR 2022 has caused issues for some users such as slow responsiveness, lagging brushes, crashes, etc. which are, at times, hardware-related.
I am a bit hesitant to pre-order 2023 until hardware requirements are released. Have I missed something?

We won't know if hardware requirements have changed until the 2023 version is released.
I do know that Nonoise and Resize AI in 2022.5 need a better GPU than the versions prior.(I had to replace mine)

There is a specs section in the Learn More information on the ON1 website.

Ok. I never went that far.

This says the minimum Vram is 2gig, but I can tell you right now 2gig is not enough. It's the reason I had to upgrade.

Hi, This is the reason I will not be going to 2023, every time you have a problem with the software and I am talking from 4,5,6 years ago the answer from On1 now and then was "have you updated your GPU, Drivers etc etc, what are the specs on your system"? so you end up having as RS stated above he had to upgrade, I have done so twice but when you consider how much a GPU, RAM or CPU costs it makes On1 quite expensive for some who wish to upgrade.

It's the first time I've upgraded my GPU in about 7 years. It was time. The software can't become more powerful if you don't have the hardware to support it.
I intend to build a whole new PC this Christmas, most of it is 14 years old. It appears slower and slower as time goes on, but I have never had any problems with it until AI Resize was added to Photo Raw. I'd say that's a pretty good run and I don't blame On1 for needing to upgrade.
