ON1 Photo Raw 2023 Error

This happens when I start On1 Photo Raw 2023 on a windows 10 machine.  On1 2022 ran fine.

Any suggestions?

    Have any of you done a web search on Vulkan-1.dll? I haven't been able to find out what it does for certain or who it actually comes from but I did find some interesting leads.

    This .dll may not be coming from Photo RAW. I've seen it mentioned in an Android emulator article and in one that said you need to update video card drivers. I've also seen virus infections cited as a cause of the problem.

    If this is part of your video card drivers Photo RAW will expect it to be there when it initializes the graphics card. If that initialization fails then Photo RAW cannot start (no video output!) and it reports the problem making it look like it is a Photo RAW problem.

    Google 'vulkan-1.dll' and you'll find all kinds of articles on how to fix the problem by downloading and installing it. Be sure to restart your computer after the install.

    I have the same problem.  I originally had the Vulkan-1.dll problem and was able to fix it by googling and downloading the fix.  Now I have this issue:

    I have submitted a support ticket as well but have not gotten any resolution.

    Same problem over here with ON1 Photo RAW 2023 on a Windows 10 system with all updates installed.

    The procedure entry point wkGetPhysicalDeviceProperties2 could not be located in the dynamic link library "C:\Program Files\ON1\ON1 Photo RAW 2023\ONQtCore.dll"

    Downloaded ON1 Photo RAW 2023 Version 2023 (17.0.2.13102) - November 17, 2022

    Installed, uninstalled the software few times with a computer restart in between, always with the same result! The library ONQtCore.dll is in the directory "C:\Program Files\ON1\ON1 Photo RAW 2023\" !

    Andreas, the problem is not the software, the problem is the GPU. Per this article, you need to update your GPU drivers...
