I had the same thing happen. They installed but didn't nest in the AI Preset Folder, they ended up nested with all the regular preset folders. I tried them though and they worked fine with several of my images.

Presets are always installed into their own folder(s) in Extras Manager. You can move them after the installation if you want to keep them all grouped in the existing AI Adaptive Presets folder.

Brian, they are not showing up anywhere in the Extras Manager. The folders show up in the preset pane when in edit but are missing in the manager.

I noticed this when I went to move them.

Interesting. Showing up inside 2023 outside of the standard AI presets, and working but as reported not appearing in the list of Presets in Manage Extras. Yet if I look at the Extras folder I can see a lot of preset files with timestamp of today. (I have been running beta so all the other presets have earlier timestamps from my last restore test.)

With the strange naming it is not possible to identify which is which.

Since no add on preset packs released during beta testing not surprising this issue has not been caught before.

    Something for support.

David, yes, this is a bit strange....they had to be installed somewhere. Weird they show up in the preset panel in edit but are not in the extras manager. Even more strange that they are actually working on my machine regardless (a head-scratcher!)

When I try using Adaptive Presets it make the program to shutdown.  Then I restart Photo Raw 2023, if I bring the same photo the adaptive preset is select and the program shutdown again.  I cannot use the program again unless I delete all 2023 files in user/appdata/roaming/on1 folder.

Then uninstall Photo Raw 2023 and reinstall.  Looks like adaptive presets causes program shutdown.  Program works find as long as I don't use adaptive presets.

Stanford, using the Delete settings option will probably get the program running without all of the reinstalling hassles. If Delete settings doesn't do it, there is always the reset option.

Please report this problem to tech support.

I just downloaded and installed them and I'm not seeing them in the Extras Manager either nor have I been able to find them in the normal locations for them. I'm looking into it.

Brian, I think that they are in the Application Support/On1/Extras 2023 folder but with strange names difficult to tell. I had done a test backup/restore last week on my RC installation so most of the files in that folder have last week's date but a load have the time I installed the preset packs.

    I have submitted bug report.

I've looked everywhere for them and can't find them.

They have been added to ~/Library/Application Support/On1/Extras 2023.

In my set up the previous entries were created by a Restore and have the same date meaning I can see files that were created this morning when I downloaded and installed the extras.

I opened one of these up in Text Edit and although mostly hex I spotted a reference to "Bonus Landscape" at the beginning of the file.

I suspect that there is some sort of bug in the installation process whereby everything gets installed except the updating of the information that Manage Extras uses to identify and group the presets.

As the Extras folder is a single level folder the ordering in Manage Extras must be driven by the information in the actual preset files. So even knowing which files are which presets doesn't really help.

As I said I have bug reported the problem.

At least the presets are correctly installed so that they can be used regardless. If you want to you can rename the categories by right-clicking on the category in the Preset Browser. I have just added AI to the front of the three new categories so that they now appear next to the standard AI Presets. They remain invisible in Manage Extras.

It helps that they have a unique icon on their folders. I renamed them so they are nested at the top and easy to find at a glance.

I second David's analysis. It looks like the database used by Extras Manager hasn't been updated with the UUIDs (strange names) so it can't display them. I also found them in the Extras 2023 folder.
