I agree, worse, for me the software is completely unusable, yesterday after installation of PR 2023 it blew up my whole windows Graphic settings, I couldn't even change any display settings, my screen is normally 2560 x 1440, now it is 1024 x 768 but i can't reset this (section in settings greyed out – see picture below) nor i can't install any adrenalin driver again because of Error 207 (AMD software was successfully installed but windows discovered a problem with your graphic device – see picture below) so I spent the whole night reinstalling my windows 11. And even with fresh installation there were the same problems.

To prove to you that I have learned something I bought today the O&O Diskimage so that I no longer need the whole night to reset my pc.

    am very disappointed!

    my system

    Windows 11 22h2
    CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
GPU: AMD PowerColor RX 6700 XT Red Devil
    RAM: 32 GB
    SSD: 2x Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB

Concerning drivers and updates, I can assure you that there is no pc in the world that is as up to date as mine

I'm having the same problem with my windows 10 laptop intermittent crashes.  I agree this version is very buggy and unstable.  I have a Nvidia gtx1060 video with latest driver update, 16GB system memory.  The program will all of a sudden crash it looks like it as to do with adaptive presets.

Stanford, there is a known problem with NVIDEA cards. ON1 is in contact with them and we are awaiting driver updates for their cards.

Marc S, installing Photo RAW did not change your system settings. This is why after every major upgrade Windows users have to configure their graphics drivers and OS settings to allow the new version to take advantage of them. If the installer could configure those settings that step would not be necessary.

rblanc13, you haven't provided enough information for anyone to begin to offer help.

Here’s a Knowledge Base article on getting things set up for Photo RAW.

    dear friends,

and again (for the third time) my windows 11 system crashed. even if you don't want to admit it here ("Marc S, installing Photo RAW did not change your system settings"). i clicked on a PNG image in the library, then the screen went black and it stayed that way. i had to restart the pc via reset and after that my screen settings were at 1024x768 (normally my pc is at 2560x1440). i can't change this in my windows anymore, also i can't install a new driver. (as already described above)
luckily this time i made a diskimage with O&O Diskimage which i bought this week and everything was back to normal within 20 minutes. I hope that the problems will be solved quickly.

    Marc
