NVIDIA
For what it is worth, this is what I did to solve the crashing problems of version 2023.
For some reason, there are two display adapters on my machine (Dell XPS 8900, Windows 10): Intel HD Graphics 510 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960. (I know, pretty old.)
First, I disabled the NVIDIA driver and restarted the computer. No more crashes, BUT the program ran very slowly.
Second, I reinstalled the NVIDIA driver and restarted the computer. No more crashes and everything seems to run smoothly.
I hope that this will help some of you.

How did you disable the NVIDIA driver? I don't see anything in Settings or the Control Panel that says disable. I could uninstall and restart but I afraid I will lose my screens because the graphics rely on my NVIDIA card.

Richard.
1. In Control Panel, click Device Manager. The Device Manager window opens.
2. In the Device Manager window, click the forward arrow next to Display Adapters. The list of adapters appears, including the NVIDIA.
3. Right-click NVIDIA then click Disable device in the popup menu.
I hope this helps. If you run into problems, repeat the steps above to reach Enable device. See also whether your driver has an update available.

Thant Nicolas, I did disable and then re-enabled my NVIDIA graphic card and it ON1 2023 seems to be working now.

The same issue of closing down when I go to edit a photo has popped up again, I know ON1 Support is working to solve the NVIIDIA graphic card problem, so I think I'll continue to use 2022.5 until its fixed.

I got a message yesterday that they hope to have a patch out in a week.
