ON1 Photo RAW 20203 crashes when applying any filter
Hello,
I tried everything... updated my graphic card drivers... full uninstall and clean install... the problem is still there and I cannot use this software at all. Sometimes it crashes for even opening an image.. other times it crashes just when I try to apply a filter... disappointing results...

Everything looks ok. You'll have to contact On1 support and ask them. Including the log file might help pinpoint a reason.

Ticket sent with the log file. Let's hope.

You have an nvidia card, photo raw 2023, at this point is still unusable with nvidia cards and up to date drivers. It only works downgrading your graphic card driver to V.512.15

Try this
open a file in ON1 photo Raw 2022 first, make a small change in this file and close ON1 2022
open the file in ON1 2023 and edit it . ON1 2023 should not shutdown.
copy parameters from this file to all the files included in your folder
Now you should be able to edit all the files from your folder
For me it works

I tried this by using NoNoise on all my photos in 2022.5 and then opening them up in 2023. Pictures are now all black in 2023. I guess we need to wait until ON1 Support and NVIDIA fix the problem.

that's strange because for me that solves temporary problems

I have the same issue as OP..Im using an older computer(NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz
16.0 GB ram) With these specs, is that my issue or the nvidia problem? tia for any input0 -
NVIDIA has newer driver 522.25 released on 10/12, if you do not have that try with it.

Louis - Your GT 1030 only has 2 GB of Vram, that will not run PR 2023. I know that technically it meets On1's minimum specs but from all accounts I have seen in this forum 2 GB Vram is simply not enough. Unfortunately you will need to get a card with at least 4GB Vram but if I were you I would look for one with 6 GB or more if you can afford it.

Updating to NVIDIA 522.25 didn't work for me.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have tried to downgrade to V512.5 but On1 PR 2023 is now unusable.0 -
Also, I had reopened the ticked with support since no solution has been provided. At this point I have paid for a software I cannot even use anymore due to constant crashes.

I received an email from Support today saying they are still working on the issue and hope to have a fix by next week or so.

It is annoying that support keeps closing my ticket when there is no resolution provided to this Nvidia problem. I have again reopened my ticket. This is one of the worst supports I have seen.

Support closes the tickets once they get to where they have no more help to offer so it doesn't keep showing up in their list of what needs to be worked on. It may say "solved" but that isn't what that means. It means there is no solution, or it has been passed to the engineers for fixing. Either way, there's nothing more support can do so they close the ticket.

Thanks then please consider closing the ticket as "not resolved" and not "solved" since it means 2 different things

I have no control over it and I doubt that ON1 does either. Most likely they are using someone else's system.

Hello,
support has just sent the new patch (and it works!):

For me the update solved the issue with black preview with no noise ai and tack sharp, but the problem with mask ai with current nvidia drivers still persists.
nvidia 2070 super
downgrading driver once again.... :(
