The company says to try restarting your machine and to be sure you have both read and write permissions on the destination drive.

If a restart doesn't help, you'll have to contact support.

Error -1002 / -1003 when opening or saving a file

    Thanks, Brian. I'll contact them

I've already tried restarting and have no problem with the same file(s)/drive if I use On1 Photo 2022.

Occasionally I get the same log file, but if I check, the file is exported in spite of the error message. Go figure.

A pre-2020 image? I get this often. Try opening the image in edit - make a minor change and save. Then try to export. Should work.

As it turns out, the only time it doesn't export is when I'm including my logo as a watermark. If I turn watermark off it will export. Also, when watermark is turned on it doesn't make the preview as 2022 did.

Norm, had the exact same issue yesterday when I used 2023 for the first time. Follow the links provided in ON1 support and run the MicroSoft program available at: https://download.microsoft.com/download/F/5/E/F5E25FFA-D1AE-4B53-9114-C754FB306FC3/winfilefolder.DiagCab

Has worked just fine (with watermark) since then.

Thanks, Bob. On1 Support has told me they're aware of an issue with this and are working on it.

Interesting that the Microsoft DiagCab could fix it though. I'm always hesitant to use things like that as I'm a total neophyte when it comes to the inner workings of the computer. LOL

I ran the DiagCab but didn't make a difference.

    Re Export problems with watermark:

I just had the same problem. I installed DiagCab, but that didn't solve the problem. A 2nd look revealed that when installing the 2023 version my logo didn't come across. After installing the logo again it worked like a charm.

The fact that my logo didn't come across from the old version was a first. I believe it's worth fixing.

I had the same problem with the watermark. Had to reinstall my watermark (fortunately had saved it in an easy-to-find location).

I had also reinstalled my logo, however that didn't fix the issue for me.

Just installed the October 24 update and the issue has been rectified.
