Use the File > Send To Other Application… command then find and select the application you want to use. It should appear in the Send To items the next time you use it.

If your Preferences > Files > Show this options every time setting is turned on you'll see a Save Dialog where you can choose what file type you want to Export. It will be saved and sent to that other program. When you finish there you'll continue editing the newly exported file.

If that option is turned off whatever file type is selected will be sent to the other program.

See page 52 in the User Guide for more information.

Although your reply was constructive, perhaps I didn't clearly state my question. I really needed to know whether I should process in ON1 before sending to the other application  -- or vice versa.

That is up to you and whatever fits into your normal workflow. Are you more of a Photoshop or a Photo RAW user? Start there.

It will also depend upon which features you want to use. If you want to use NoNoise AI or TackSharp AI I would recommend starting in Photo RAW as those work best with a RAW file.

My previous answer assumed you were going from PR to Ps.

Thank you, Brian. Your latest comment is what I was looking for -- and combined with your first comment I believe I have all the info I need.  (BTW, PR is my editor of choice, but occasionally I need to do some pixel-level editing and wasn't sure of the correct workflow). Thanks again!
