Solution: switch to english language, activate the menuentry 'Show Bumper Labels' and switch back to german.

I have done this about two years ago, because this bug exists since years. But ON1 doesn't want to fix it...

It doesn't hurt to report it again and it takes just a couple of seconds. I've filed a report too.

I think it is a lazy answer, the OS will take care of menu items which are "too long" and this is the first time I've ever heard of there being any kind of length limit on them.
