Ai could be a useful tool here but scans are tough, even for Ai to accurately analyze. I've seen some masking tricks in other apps that can make the job a bit more efficient but I've never seen it...

I agree. Ai should be the ultimate tool for removing dust. I was very disappointed to discover that On1 has no dust or scratch removal feature. I guess we'll have to find a third party plugin.
