If I've understood ... move the file to layers where you should be able to mask (remove) vs crop

Sometimes a picture is worth MANY words. I took a screen cap of a mask and the image to which it was applied. In EFFECTS I masked 3 areas and there was no overlap.

Possibly I understand .... when I use local edits and want to adjust the tone and clarity but in different parts of my image I change brush opacity.

In browse grid mode highlight all images intended for the album and drag into album already created.

I believe it is a profile [or some sort of pre-programming] A raw file must be minimally processed in order to be displayed. The default is On1 standard.

Hi Rick, I'm not certain about James ..... The steps I use wrt luminosity masking: create the mask adjust the sliders to reveal or hide to my liking if that fails I choose to brush at 100% feather...

I don't copy luminosity masks but rather just create new.
