I just restarted everything and re-opened PR2019 and left it in browse only and the CPU is maxed out at 100% (it's been in the high 90's and at 100% for 10 minutes now) and I am not doing anything!...

Version 6177 may be a test version that support is discretely sending out as a fix to certain customers, perhaps?

Personally I'd highly recommend keeping PR2018 on your machine when installing PR2019, just incase you have issues with the 2019 version.
