Thanks. It's odd though as I did try and quickly reproduce it, with different results. This time it left behind just one sidecar file. I'll have another look at it this weekend when I have more time.

Thanks Brian, That was the thing though, the sidecar files weren't in the trash but remained in the folder, but empty. I did forget the undo tbh, doh!. Next time I will remember.
