I don't have the same issue ( Tack Sharp giving totally black screen ) but the new Nvidia driver did not help my issue which On1 is indicating is an Nvida driver issue as well.

I have to agree the masking is very hit and miss in a bad way. 1st image is really bad and 2nd is ok but could obviously be better giver the flat background.
