Markus, if you look at my original post, the 2 folders in the external drive are BrowseCache and Scratch folder moved through Preferences. The other cache's are still in the Roaming folder.

I have also had similar issues but on internal drives, however, it seemed to fix itself. On mine I don't think the edits were actually lost, but the database was not giving the info to the display ...
