What’s New

• Improved Super Select AI Tool — The original point, click, and edit tool improved greatly. The improved Super Select AI tool can now select anything, not just objects it recognizes. This makes adding adjustments to clothing, hair, skin, individual flowers, etc., much faster. Just click on or drag a box around an object or region, pick an adjustment or filter, and boom, you are done. There is no need to create layers first and then add filters and masks.
• Improved Quick Mask AI Tool—Similar to the Super Select AI tool, the improved Quick Mask AI tool allows you to edit masks with point-and-click, making it fast and easy to blend layers and filters.
• Improved Performance—These are the biggest performance boosts yet! Almost everything in Edit feels faster. Opening raw files is almost instant, and brushing on deep stacks is buttery smooth.
• Smaller Installer and More Frequent Updates—We have re-engineered how the app is delivered. The installer is much smaller, so downloading and installing are faster. When you launch the app, it checks for updates and automatically downloads any missing or updated components. This allows us to update things like camera support, AI models, and extra content more often, making updates much smaller.

Layers Pane

The layers pane is much improved. Its height is adjustable, it shows settings applied to each layer, and switching layers is faster and smoother.

Paste Pixels

The new pixel-pasting capability lets you easily integrate external images and graphics into your edits. Users can copy pixel selections from apps like Photoshop and paste them into ON1 Effects.
