Bug Fixes and Stability Improvements
Version 2026.3.1 (20.3.1.18535) — Mar, 30 2026
This is a maintenance update focused on bug fixes, stability, and performance. It addresses the following issues and is recommended for all users:
- Sometimes the preview in Resize AI does not update to show the results when you zoom in
- Sometimes you can’t toggle the Info panel in Browse
- Sometimes you can’t change the color label when it search results
- Fixed an issue where some RAF files had a pink cast
- Fixed an issue where DNGs from Lightroom Mobile had a green cast
- Made toggling export presets more clear
- Fixed several memory leaks and crashes
Version 2026.3 (20.3.0.18187) — 23 Feb 2026
This update improves support for smaller screens. It increases stability and is recommended for all users.
Small Screen Improvements — On smaller displays — especially laptops — the right side of the interface could feel cramped. For new installations, the Layers and Properties panes have been moved to the left side to create more working space. Brilliance AI is now collapsed by default so you can access common RAW adjustments immediately. Existing users can still reposition or close panes to match their preferences.
Apple ML Performance — Due to a bug in macOS 26.1 and 26.2, some machine learning features (including Resize, Generative Crop, and Generative Erase) temporarily reverted to CPU processing. With macOS 26.3, this issue has been resolved and GPU acceleration has been restored for improved performance. To benefit from this improvement, update to macOS 26.3 or later.
Improved Leveling Model — The Auto Level and Crop feature now delivers more consistent leveling results across groups of similar images.
Added preliminary support for the Sony a7 V (note some compressed raw versions are not supported at this time, no camera profiles are available yet).
Added or updated some camera profiles.

What’s New
- New 2026 Best Quality Model — This state-of-art generative AI model produces the highest quality results available. It uses diffusion technology to recreate new details and sharpness that the original photo lacks. It also removes noise and other artifacts. It is perfect for small, low-quality input, AI generated art, and tight crops. It may not be fast, but the results are worth the extra wait.
- New 2026 Standard Model — This new model performs better than existing Resize AI models on low-quality, noisy, and artifact-ridden input while maintaining performance for batch processing, large output, or older GPUs.
- No Noise Reduction Needed — The new AI models for 2026 do an amazing job of reducing noise and JPG artifacts natively and don’t require additional noise reduction as part of the resizing process.
- Latest RAW file format support.
