Getting Started with ON1 Home Module

The Home module is the personalized starting point for ON1 Photo RAW.
It gives photographers a cleaner, more guided first step into the product by combining common actions, recent work, helpful education, and relevant updates in one place.

New and trial users who need a simpler path to get started and understand what to do first.
Existing owners who want quick access to common actions like opening a photo, browsing a folder, or importing from a device. Or prefer to pick up where they left off.
ON1 customers who benefit from seeing what is new, relevant training, and personalized content.

Can I skip Home and open Browse instead?

Yes. If the startup preference is available in your version, you can choose to launch directly into Browse.

Mac: Go to ON1 Photo RAW in the top menu bar > select Preferences > Under Start Up Options select Browse and click “Ok” to save.

Windows: Go to Help in the top menu bar > select Preferences > Under Start Up Options select Browse and click “Ok” to save.

Does Home replace Browse or Edit?

No. Home is a starting point that helps you get to the action you want faster.

Why does the content on Home change?

Some Home content is dynamic and may update to show new tutorials, product announcements, or account-relevant messaging.

Do I need to be connected to the internet?

Some dynamic content may require an internet connection, but core entry points such as opening, browsing, and importing should still remain central to the experience.
