How To Get A Spindump - Mac

Spindumps are useful if the app is 'hanging/freezing'. If you're using the app and it goes into a not-responding state, typically shown with the spinning beachball, you can get a Spindump that can often provide details for the issue.

1. When the ON1 app goes into non-responsive state, launch the Activity Monitor 
Click on the Magnifying Glass in upper right corner of the Menubar and type Activity Monitor.
Click on Activity Monitor to open.

2. With the Activity Monitor open:
Search for ON1 Photo in the Search field
Select ON1 PHOTO RAW in the list
Click on three dots... select Spindump

3.  You will be prompted to enter your Mac Admin Password to create the Spindump. Enter your Mac Admin Password (This is NOT your ON1 password)

4. Click the Save button

5. Save the Spindump to easy to find location like your Desktop
